Cobra™ Access Point

The Cobra™ Access Points for underground utilities provides convenient, above-ground access to your tracer wire system. Connect your utility locate transmitter to one terminal and your ground rod to the other. Connect and disconnect the jumper to engage and disengage ground. The Cobra also provides a finished and professional looking installation. With up to three terminals, and multiple mounting options, the Cobra Access Point offers flexibility for many field applications.

Configuration Examples

1 terminal – single tracer wire connection, easy access connection for a locator
2 terminals with jumper – single tracer wire connection plus a ground rod wire connection offers an excellent locate signal with the jumper disconnected (with the jumper connected, the ground rod provides an excellent locate signal from other locations)
3 terminals with jumper – two tracer wire connections plus a ground rod wire connection offer an excellent locate signal in two directions with the jumper disconnected (with the jumper connected, the ground rod provides an excellent locate signal from other locations)
