Cobra™ Access Point

Cobra™ Access Points for underground utilities provide convenient, above-ground access to a tracer wire system. Connect the utility locate transmitter to one terminal and the ground rod to the other. Connect and disconnect the jumper to engage and disengage ground to control the direction of the locate signal. With up to three terminals and multiple mounting options, the Cobra™ Access Point offers installation flexibility and a finished, professional looking installation. Mount to a fire hydrant with the Cobra™ Hydrant Flange (also available packaged together with a Cobra™), or mount anywhere with the Cobra™ Mounting Stake.

Above-grade Direct Connection and Grounding Station

The Cobra™ makes connecting to a utility tracer wire system easy and efficient. Plus it provides visibility to a utility locator. One or two terminals for tracer wire and the other for the ground wire. Multiple mounting options available.

Cobra™ Options

Cobra™ Access Points protect wire and provide a convenient, above-ground, direct connection point for locating equipment. Available in 3 styles:

  1. 1 terminal – single tracer wire connection; Part # T1-*
  2. 2 terminals with jumper – 1 tracer wire connection plus 1 ground connection; connect the jumper to locate to the Cobra™; disconnected the jumper to locate from the Cobra™; when disconnected, the bottom terminal can be used to ground the locate transmitter; Part # T2-*
  3. 3 terminals with jumper – 2 tracer wire connections plus 1 ground connection; Part # T3-*
